How to Configure Email to Outlook
Desktop Apps(Microsoft Outlook 2013/2016/2019/Office365 app)
- Start -> Search -> Control Panel
- Search keyword [Mail], and Click [Mail (Microsoft Outlook)]
- Click [Add..] as shown below:
- Insert the [Profile Name], and click [OK] button.
- Select [Manual setup or additional server types] and click [Next] buttom.
- Select [POP or IMAP], and click [Next] button.
- Please insert the necessary information and Press [Next] button.
Notes:
Account Type: IMAP
Incoming mail server: mail.promaxgroup.com
Outgoing mail server: mail.promaxgroup.com
- Once filling in all the infromation, click on [More Setting…].
- In [Outgoing Server] tab, please check “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”.
- In [Advanced] tab, Please refer below. Press [OK] once finished.
- Press [Next] button.
- Everything is good will showing Completed. Just press [Close] button.
- You’re success to setup the email into Outlook.
- Lastly, remember change the profile that we created just now in [Always use this profile]
Mobile Apps(IOS and Android)
IOS
- For IOS device, open [Mail] software. The icon looks like this:
- Select [Other]
- Type your [email address] and [email password]. You may also type your name and description then click [Next].
- For incoming and outgoing email server:
Host Name: mail.promaxgroup.com.sg
Username: Your email address (xxxxx@promaxgroup.com.sg)
Password: Your email password
- Click [Save]
- Now you can check your email and done setup for IOS device.
Android:
- For Android device, please download the Outlook from google play.
- In case it is your first account, press [ADD ACCOUNT]
Type Your email address:
Example: youremail@promaxgroup.com
Press [Continue] and Select [IMAP].- Open [Advanced Settings]
- You may type your own display name and description.
Other info will be filled up automatically.
For IMAP Incoming Email Server and SMTP Outgoing Email Server,
Username: Your email address (xxxxx@promaxgroup.com.sg)
Password: Your email password - You may select [Maybe Later]
- Done setup, now you can check your email.
